At Roland Berger we believe in sustainable, inclusive growth. We explain what that means in this report, looking in particular at how we live up to our environmental, social and governance (ESG) goals within our own organization and how we promote those goals in our work supporting clients. We describe what we are doing to drive change from within, and what action we are taking to build a net zero world.
The report follows the Universal Standards of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI).
The geopolitical shifts that occurred in the past years risk undermining climate action and climate change mitigation efforts. While security concerns pose a threat to businesses, affecting local operations or disrupting value chains, we need to keep our sustainability ambitions high. Only by delivering bold climate strategies can we mitigate damage to our planet and ultimately build a more resilient economy.
We are convinced that new technologies are vital for stepping up to the challenge and we see it as an imperative for a strategy consultancy with European roots to lead the way through innovation and cross-stakeholder collaboration.
At Roland Berger we view sustainability as an opportunity. The greatest impact we have is through the work we do with our clients, helping them decarbonize their operations with new solutions, proprietary tools and technical innovations.
