Peter: Short introduction
Hello, my name is Peter and I am a Consultant at the Roland Berger Stuttgart office. Before joining the company, I completed both my BS and MS degree in Business Administration at the LMU Munich and a semester abroad at the Beijing Normal University in China. Besides my studies, I play sports, cook with friends and travel.
About a year ago, I joined the Automotive Competence Center of Roland Berger as a Junior Consultant. My first year working at Roland Berger has been challenging and exciting. I was involved in multiple projects and I had the opportunity to support various global leading OEMs and Automotive suppliers. Some projects involved strategy development for a leading battery cell manufacturer, material cost optimization for a leading OEM and even development of a portfolio strategy for a major Automotive supplier. The project work was often characterized by a strong internationality. Already in my second week in the company, I flew to our Sao Paulo office in Brazil, to work on my first project with local colleagues! Traveling and meeting new colleagues was pretty cool!
I think what I like the most about the work as a Consultant for Roland Berger is the range of topics and fields I get to work alongside. This offers a lot of variety and the opportunity to build up extensive knowledge within a very short time. The latter is supplemented by the extensive training offering available. Moreover, it is a lot of fun to work in changing and very diverse teams. Next to the project related work, I also enjoy the team activities of our Automotive Competence Center, such as our quarterly office meetings in Munich and our yearly summer event.
For potential candidates interested in working for Roland Berger, I can recommend participating in a company event offered by Roland Berger. It's a great opportunity to get to know the consulting world, our unique Roland Berger culture and especially your potential future colleagues.
