My career with Roland Berger began back in 1993, when I worked as a temp in the business graphics department, creating presentations for our consulting teams and sometimes even for Roland Berger himself.
I then switched to IT while I was doing my computer science degree, and as a working student I supported both our corporate functions and our consulting teams with specially developed tools for data gathering, consolidation and evaluation. I was able to gain a lot of experience during this time, and I also got an insight into a few client projects here and there. To this day, I am still proud to have made a small contribution to the success of these consulting projects. During this time, I also started working on digitalizing internal processes. It was therefore not hard to convince me to accept a permanent role with the company after I completed my degree in 2001 so that I could take up these topics and continue to develop them. In particular, this included application development and application support for our HR team.
I have now been a Senior Expert in our IT team for many years and I'm responsible for a number of enterprise applications and the company's data management. What I particularly like here is the opportunity I have to keep discovering new topics and to constantly further my own development. I work in a great international team in which I've made many friendships over the years. Working with colleagues from other departments is also great fun and very enriching in many ways. This is extremely valuable and, in addition to the wide range of interesting topics I work on, is one of the reasons why I have remained loyal to the company for over 30 years.
a key player.

My career at Roland Berger began in 2011 as a working student.
At that time, it was completely beyond my imagination that I would one day be involved in shaping IT here both operationally and strategically. My responsibilities were and still are very diverse, ranging from helping and later coordinating our IT support to setting up a mobile device management system to providing technical support for internal events.
In addition to the exciting tasks I work on in such a fast changing world (and especially the world of IT), I really appreciate the unique working atmosphere in our department and across the entire company.
