

Ambitious growth plan in Middle East

Charles-Edouard Bouée, newly-elected CEO of Roland Berger Strategy Consultants, is in Dubai for a series of talks with leaders and top executives. Tobias Plate, Managing Partner for the Middle East is in charge of delivering this ambitious growth agenda. The first pillar relies on further leveraging the well-known strengths of Roland Berger in the region around Public Services, Telcos, Transportation, Infrastructure, Restructuring and Private Equity. The second pillar aims at deploying new sectorial or functional expertise of the firm to serve local clients. "Financial Services is a major industry in the Region. Based in Dubai, Knut Storholm becomes the leader of the Financial Services team in the Middle East and is in charge of developing lasting relationships with key institutions in the region. He has over 20 years of experience in advising major Financial Institutions, Sovereign Wealth Funds and Private Equity firms as well as Government Agencies on strategy design as well as organizational transformation. Until 2012, Knut Storholm was a senior Partner and Managing Director with The Boston Consulting Group. He was based in South East Asia and then moved to Dubai in 2007 where he was head of Financial Services for the Middle East.
Knut Storholm has an MBA Cum Laude from Glasgow University in addition to a master of Finance from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration. He also is a retired officer with the Royal Norwegian Armed Forces.
