Alessandro Grigolon

Alessandro Grigolon is a Principal at Roland Berger’s Milan office, where he leads projects in Financial Services, with a special focus on payments. Alessandro joined Roland Berger in 2014 and has over 10 years of experience in strategic management consulting, specializing in fintech-related projects and go-to-market strategies for new offerings in the payments sector. In addition to payments, his areas of expertise include consumer finance and retail banking.

His expertise covers the launch of digital banks, payment cards, and innovative payment products—including CBDCs and digital assets. He has also led major IT projects, such as the migration of large payments platforms.

Alessandro’s focus areas include strategy and business planning, post-merger integration, PMO, go-to-market strategy, and optimizing operational processes for payment providers. He works with a diverse range of clients, including payment providers, retail banks, fintech startups, and consumer finance specialists.

Alessandro holds a Master of Science in Management & Industrial Engineering from Politecnico di Milano and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Padua. He is fluent in Italian and English, with proficiency in German.
