Apratim Sarkar is a Senior Partner who joined Roland Berger in 2022. He is an expert on the American consumer goods and retail industries, with a focus on specialty retailers, grocery chains, and food and white goods consumer companies. He has advised leading global players on operational transformation, procurement & supply chain optimization, pricing and promotions, product design & market entry strategies, G&A cost reduction, and restructuring.
Prior to joining Roland Berger, Apratim co-led the Sourcing and Procurement Transformation practice at a global restructuring and operations turnaround firm. Prior to that he was a junior partner at a global strategy consulting firm, focusing on consumer goods and retail industries.
Apratim studied Computer Science at the Indian Institute of Technology and at Brown University, and holds an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
