Bernhard Langefeld
Bernhard Langefeld is a Senior Partner in Operations in Frankfurt. He joined Roland Berger in 2011 and advises clients on production (lean, network optimization, factory planning, etc.), Industry 4.0 and IoT, advanced manufacturing, and 3D printing.
Bernhard was production manager at a Luxembourg-based engineering company, as well as a process engineer, plant manager, and global project manager for new factory builds at a Tier-1 organization. He has also worked as a management consultant at a leading UK consultancy firm.
Bernhard studied production engineering and environmental sciences at RWTH Aachen University, where he earned his PhD on the subject of forming technologies.
