Ismail Alaoui

Ismail Alaoui brings over a decade of experience in the water industry across Europe and the GCC region. His career has encompassed various roles, combining technical expertise with business development and strategic consulting for leading water companies and clients in both the public and private sectors.

He began his career in 2008 as a Process Engineer at an engineering firm specializing in water infrastructure, where he spent nearly five years managing large-scale water projects. He then transitioned into a business development role at a major provider of integrated water services, overseeing growth initiatives across the GCC region for four years.

Since joining a specialized consultancy focused on the water sector, he has expanded his expertise in areas such as sustainability, digital transformation, and innovation. His diverse background, blending strategic thinking with deep industry knowledge, enables him to advise clients on some of the most pressing challenges facing the water sector today, including resource efficiency, climate resilience, and advanced water treatment technologies.

Ismail holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from ESTP Paris and the University of Birmingham.
