Matthias Hanke

Matthias Hanke is Managing Partner of our Swiss Branch and he is focusing on Transportation Industry (Aviation, Tour Operating, Logistics and Rail) as well as on Consumer Goods & Retail. From a functional perspective, he focuses on Strategy Consultancy, Business Planning, (Re-) Organization and Process Efficiency in operative and back-office-functions.
Matthias has been working at Roland Berger from 1994 to 1999 and he re-joined in 2006. From 1999 until 2006, he was Executive Vice President Network & Strategy at an international airline and afterwards he acted as Post Merger Integration Manager for a delivery company in the Day-Definite Logistics business. Before 1994, Matthias has worked as a Steel Trader in the Import/Export business in Hamburg and he made a combined Master in Business Administration and Mechanical Engineering at the Technical Universität in Darmstadt.
Personal line-management- and project- experience is my most valuable resource for consultancy. Clients appreciate myself as a neutral sparring-partner.
