Stephan Baur
Stephan joined Roland Berger in 2011 in our Industrial Products & Services team. He is an expert in aerospace and in particular aerostructures and interiors. Focusing on corporate strategies, large scale transformation projects, and operational improvements, he has developed a clear thematic focus in the past years around aerospace suppliers and their interface to OEMs. Additionally, he has successfully completed aerospace projects around the world (i.e. China, Middle East, North America). Furthermore, he's focused on "established" players of the industry as well as on new and disruptive ideas, such as Urban Air Mobility (UAM), as a rising industry in aviation/aerospace.
Stephan holds degrees in aerospace engineering from the Technical University of Munich (TU) and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and completed his PhD work on risk-sharing partnership in the aerospace industry from ETH Zurich. In addition, he is also a hobby pilot.
I want to help to transform the aerospace industry, both on OEM and on the supplier side.
