Torsten Henzelmann
Dr. Torsten Henzelmann is Managing Director for Central Europe, Senior Partner in Frankfurt, Head of the global Industry Platform Regulated and Asset Oriented Business with the client teams Civil Economics, Infrastructure, Transportation and Energy & Utilities. Since joining Roland Berger in 1998, he has worked on both strategic and operational issues for numerous clients. His experience ranges from the strategic realignment of companies to the management of transactions and post-merger integrations. Torsten Henzelmann places a special focus on the implementation of concepts and solution.
As a Technology Specialist, Torsten supports transformation projects and develops strategy and performance programs for leading companies. He also has expertise in large, technology-driven infrastructure projects in both the public and private sectors, with a focus on energy infrastructure. Torsten studied Industrial Engineering at the Technical University of Kaiserslautern. After graduating, he worked in energy management and consulting for two energy supply companies. During this time, he completed his dissertation on change processes in energy supply companies. He has authored numerous publications on renewable and conventional energy technologies as well as real estate markets.
Torsten is a research director and Professor of the Research Network for "New Mobility" at Saarland University.
