Urs Neumair
Urs Neumair joined Roland Berger in 2019 as a Partner in the Industrial Products and Services team. He is an industry expert in capital goods, in particular power generation and transmission equipment. His recent consulting work has centered on strategy, digitization, and operational effectiveness. He has successfully led many projects for various globally leading capital goods companies.
Urs worked for more than ten years for a German industrial and technology conglomerate where he held several management functions in its Energy businesses and was a Partner for its internal consulting unit. Moreover, he was Managing Director of a Munich-based software company offering software solutions for mobile workforce management and meter data management for utilities. He also gained significant experience when he worked for six years with another large international consultancy in Munich and Paris.
Urs holds a Master's degree in Mathematics from the Technical University of Munich (TUM), a Master's degree in Management, Economics, Politics of the University of St Andrews, and a PhD from the University of Gallen (HSG) in Business Administration (Strategy).
Industry and Energy are in times of unprecedented change. To master this transition, a combined view of strategy, efficiency, digitization, and innovation needs is key, while applying a hands-on and focused approach.
